(If enrolling more than one student the charge will be $175 per family)

At Rooted & Rising Hybrid we desire to have a curated curriculum that helps equip families to homeschool at home, but pairs well with teachers in the classroom setting. We pick curriculum based on compatibility with parents and teachers, affordability and of course effectiveness!
Kindergarten through 4th grade:
Language Arts:
Logic of English Foundations A, B and C
This is a phonics based language arts program that teaches reading, spelling, and grammar through clear rules, multi-sensory activities, and a strong understanding of how the English language works.
The Good and the Beautiful Language Arts
This comprehensive language arts curriculum develops reading, writing, grammar, and spelling skills through engaging lessons, quality literature, and meaningful practice.
Math:
A confidence building math program where every lesson includes hands-on learning and interactive math games making math both effective and enjoyable! Skip Counting songs.
Science:
Life Science Around the World
Students will explore life science through hands-on activities and engaging living books using an in-house curated curriculum. As we journey around the world, students will learn about ecosystems, plants, animals, and how living things interact with their environments.
Social Studies:
Around the World Picture Book Studies
Students will explore cultures and places around the world through thoughtfully selected picture books. Through stories, discussions, and hands-on activities, students will gain a deeper understanding of people, traditions, and life in different parts of the world.

5th and 6th grade:
Math: Independent Study (Choose your own math)
Parents (along with their students and Rooted & Rising Staff) will choose their own math to work on during independent study time. The classroom instructor will be available to help answer math questions and to help keep students on track.
Language Arts:
The Institute for Excellence in Writing
This curriculum equips students with strong writing skills through explicit instruction, modeling, and incremental practice that makes writing manageable and successful.
Encourages students to apply new grammar knowledge in every lesson as they practice what they already know and what they are learning
Science:
Mystery Science
This is an engaging, hands-on science curriculum that introduces students to scientific concepts through short videos, discussions, and simple experiments designed to spark curiosity.
Social Studies:
The Good and the Beautiful U.S Constitution and Government.
This curriculum introduces students to the foundations of American Government and the principles of the U.S. Constitution through engaging lessons and hands-on projects.
